The University of Pannonia, with its seat in Veszprém, is operating in the picturesque cities on the lands of the former Roman province, Pannonia. The five faculties of the university offer high quality education supported by cutting edge research activity and student friendly environment. Beside Veszprém the University has Campuses in Keszthely, Nagykanizsa, Pápa and Kőszeg. The Campus in Nagykanizsa was formed in 2000 and Information Technology college level course was begun in 2002.
The Department of Applied Informatics was established in 2016 based on the information technology academic staff of the Campus. Its main task is the education of courses in information technology field.
